Ages are Grouped Accordingly in our Softball Program

•  6-8 yrs-old… AA Minors… sign-ups allowed until early March
•  8-11 yrs-old… AAA Minors… sign-ups should be in by Feb. 29th
•  10-12 yrs-old… Majors… Players must sign up and attend tryouts on Feb. 24th
•  13-16 yrs-old… Seniors… Starts later in season. Sign-ups should occur by March 31st.

Registration Fees (ages are as of Jan. 1st, 2008)

6-9-year-olds 90.00, 10-16-year-olds 110.00. You may deduct a $10 sibling discount for
each child after the first. 

Major Tryouts

The last tryout is set for Sunday, Feb. 24th. Major Division teams will be drafted a day later.
All new players to the Major Division must attend tryouts. Returning Major Div. players must
sign up by then but do not have to attend a tryout.

Practices and Games

Major and Minor team practices start on March 1st. Games start around the first of April.
Most games are finished by the first week of June (earlier for the younger teams).

Senior Division, because they wait for the high school and middle school softball programs
to end, start their season later. Practices for Senior players not involved in a school softball
program begin around early April. Senior games begin in mid-May, finishing up by mid
June.
